You are right. Disappointment is a better word. I am not hurt because they attack my stories, but I feel hurt by the hostile treatment of minorities. My empathy to such communities was further enhanced after reading these hateful comments. How awful it could be to face such hostility in real life. Thank you for your valuable feedback.
