We tested around 30 tools 2 years ago and all failed. They either provide false negatives or false positives. It is not too hard to detect AI generated content as they still cannot write like humans. However some novice writers/readers jump to the conclusion by using such tools and cause unnecessary stress to authentic writers. Thaks for writing this valuable piece.
