From my personal experience in the last four months, I still haven’t identified a pattern for curation as the criteria are not well defined and appear to be obscure to many of us. I simply stop worrying about it as the decisions behind the walls are beyond our control. There are more innovative ways to gain visibility as we apply in our community and publication strategy. Our community consensus on this: if it happens it is good, if not, who cares as at the end of the day, it is not really a big deal.
