The same issue has affected me and numerous other accomplished writers. It appears that Medium curators are no longer adhering to their own boost guidelines. I have observed that they are organically boosting low-impact stories that do not meet these established criteria. This is deeply concerning, especially since I have dedicated countless hours to educating and mentoring hundreds of writers to follow these rules. Now, stories that surpass the criteria are being rejected. While I would be open to rule changes if they were clearly communicated, the current lack of transparency and the unfair cancellation of contracts is troubling. This inconsistency threatens the integrity of the platform and impacts everyone involved. For instance, my performance is now below 50% this month, with even Staff Pick-worthy stories being rejected. Having been a part of this platform for five years and curating quality content for over four decades, I am confident in my understanding of what readers seek. This situation needs urgent attention to ensure fairness and maintain the trust of the writing and reading community.
