Thank you for your feedback Robert. I totally agree with you. If we over consume calories more than our metabolic rate, it will cause energy storage. However, my point is not all calories are equal. For example calories from healthy fat can hardly cause any insulin spike but calories from refined carbs can cause massive release of insulin that is cause of many metabolic issues like diabetes. Therefore, same calory consumption in a ketogenic diet and high carb diet is very different. I tried both regimes and know the difference by heart now. Recent scientific studies also proved that.
