Regarding your point, I heard horror stories from our top writers that some readers leave nasty comments on some curated articles and cause the articles to be removed from distribution on Medium. Leaving a negative comment without reading the story does not sound ethical to me. However, I embrace negative comments if the story content does not resonate with the reader. Then we can discuss and find the middle way.
