Thank you for writing this valuable piece, Matt. I also red the paper but I knew it intuitively decades ago so I gave up snacking after facing prediabetes in my younger years. Snacking can be harmful for some but bed time snacking is even worse as you articulated based on this large population study. Stopping the snacks was the best thing in my health journey.
