Thank you for writing this post. Many bugs have started happening in my publications too. We reported some of them. For example they solved a 5 year old bug which restricts our editors to publish for more than 15 stories. Now this bug happens again and our volunteer editors cannot publish despite their willingness to support our writers. Medium already restricts us to have max 30 editors but managing a publication like ILLUMINATION contributed by 34K writers is impossible. I had to find many workarounds to address this situation. As you say many writers lost their accounts and everyday some writers contact me why their MPPs got revoke with no reasons. These issues are really soul-crushing for authentic writers. In addition scammers clone accounts of establish ewriters and try to deceive innocent readers. Many readers fell into trap and lost their hard earned money. I hope Medium solves these issues quickly to keep the platform sustainable and the community happy.
