Thank you for this thought story with great points. I have been thinking about it for a long time working in the technology industry for a long time. Personally I have no concerns about managed and controlled AI as tools but if we make them autonomous and rely on them too much they can harm society and even cause an existentialist crisis. We already see the harmful effects of immature AI systems on multiple platforms. I shared my thoughts in an article a few years ago so rather than repeating those details I link it here for interested readers.
