Thank you for sharing your experience. I am sorry you did not gain the desired weight loss goal from intermittent fasting. Maybe you gained more muscles therefore your weight did not change.
Weight loss and fat loss are totally different concepts. Do you check your wasitline? Even better is the use of DEXA scan which shows both fat and muscle profile accurately. As you might know IF increases growth hormone in order of magnitude so you might have gained more muscles and even more bone density. However, I see one problem with your approach of IF. Those who promote IF say you can eat whatever you can but it is counterintuitive. If you consume too much refined carbs (empty calories) with lack of essential nutritients it will delay the fat loss results. Therefore, I don't consume any carbs in my diet for various reasons. When I skipped breakfast which was a kind of IF I lost several kilos every week. Nowadays I am on one meal a day. I don't lose or gain any weight and keep my lean muscles despite my old age. Perhaps you give another trial for a few more months reducing carbs and slighly increasing healthy fats with guidance from your family doctor or a dietician.
However there are always exceptions as time-restricted eating might not work for some people even though it works for majority.
