Thank you for sharing your budget food list. I liked many in your list but I don't think bread, pasta, and potatoes are necessary for muscle building. I know many athletes and bodybuilders including myself build and maintain lean muscles without those carbs as carbs are not essential nutrients unlike amino acids and healthy foods. I know you are talking about budget foods but adding healthy fats like avocados, raw nuts, salmon, cheese, and cream/butter are much more satisfying and bring hormonal advantages than pizza, breads, and oats. The term "low fat" concerns me as it gave me nightmares in my younger years. I replaced it with "low carbs" for better hormonal profile inducing metabolic health and a defined body.
