Thank you for asking these important questions. In terms of fats, monounsaturated fats such as from olive oil and avodos are considered heathy. We need a bit of saturated fat as the body needs cholestrol. If we don't consume any cholestrol including food the body creates it in abundanace. For me the most important healthy fats for the body and the brain are omega-3 fatty acids including DHA and EPA. I publlshed a specific articles about the importance of these essential fats.

The problem with too much protein is the body can turn excess protein to glucose. Therefore ketogenic diets suggest consuming moderate protein. However, our bodies need sufficent protein as amino acids are needed for many metabolic functions. I provided guidance on this article.
