Sorry to read about your situation. NewsBreak is unpredictable. I stopped using it for 2 years but started again this year. Some stories really gained significant visibility but some only views from usual followers. My assumption is that they distribute newsworthy stories and don't generic ones. When I inquired they said their priority is local news. There might also be technical issues in distribution as last 4 days the number of impressions from my stories including the viral ones significantly dropped. I hope they solve it soon. Yes I wrote about toxic comments but what disturb me was the hate speech in comments which is not acceptable on a social platform. I don't focus on monetization on NB but those who depend on it need to find alternative platforms and diversify their content. We cannot trust any platform as they might disappear anytime. The best tool is to create our platform and manage the audience. I provided a guiding story last year based on my content strategy. I link it here for interested readers.
