It might be too much for some people but after many years of trial and error this regime suited my needs better. I know some people in my circles get best performance in 16 hour fast and 8 hours eating window. It really depends on each person’s lifestyle and other requirements like age, body type, genetics, and medical history. There is no one size that fits everyone.
