If Medium pays for me and my editors we can follow your excellent advice on improving our services. Publications are only amplifiers. Responsibility belongs to authors and Medium.
Medium allow writers to change their content after publishing.
When we see something illegal or out of policy we report it.
Medium has paid staff to deal with it. For example, in this instance we took actions immediately. Even though the article is reported it is still waiting on Medium.
So why don’t you spend your time with big fish and waste your valuable time for small fish like us.
I fully agree about the impact of homophobia on people. I am not one of them and don’t support them. I love all sexual orientations. No fear of homosexuals, I embrace them. I openly and proudly say it here. If I was homophobic, how could you expect me to deal with so many LGBTQIA writers and editors.
We also focus on many other diversity issues such as racism.
So you guys are knocking the wrong door. There is no LGBTQIA crime here. LGBTQIA community feels at home with us. We love and support them. If we detect anything we report it to Medium and remove toxicity from our publication.
