I like your optimism Zak. People jump to conclusions with very little data or emotions. Medium gives voice to every decent writer. The algorithm is not perfect but each writer has a chance to showcase their content. Medium provides many tools to writers to shine. Taking personal responsiblity in life is a key success factor. We cannot control external factors but we can control our writing and engagement. You gave good example of Sinem. People did not simply found her. She really worked hard and distinguished herself from many other writers with consitent creativity. I featured her in a story humourously last year, saying Sinem was half of my age but her achievements on Medium tripled my success. It was because I firmly believed that she put more effort than I did. I congratulated and respected her contributions. Another role model is Tim Denning. He is also a young writer but he works both hard and smart to achive his goals. They both took personal responsibility. There are many more successful writers like them.
