I found my way again

I came across this beautiful Spanish post and translated into English.

It is an excellent piece of writing quoting one of my favourite authors Herman Hesse. Here’s the English version:

Seville. Monday, September 19, 2016

Herman Hesse said that "the life of each man is a path to himself, the rehearsal of a path, the sketch of a path."

Today when I met this image when I went to work I could not contain myself and I started to take this snapshot.

A man sitting, next to his suitcase, behind his hat and, very closely, the young, cold, stony statue scrutinizing every movement.

Finally, after months of stressful oppression and creative drought I broke down to take pictures. I went back to look, to try to take the picture that seeks its meaning in the eyes of those who look at it.

Today I found my way again.

Thank you Javier Arias for sharing this powerful narrative here. Great to meet you!

Hermann Karl Hesse 2 July 1877–9 August 1962) was a German-born poet, novelist, and painter.
