I can relate to your situation as it was the same for me. Excessive glucose in the blood stream causes insulin spike which quickly clears it. When we are not fat adapted and do not eat for a while the body starts craving. Eggs and oatmeal sound great. They include three macro nutrients and many essential micro nutrients.
