I asked this question decades ago to understand the origins of thoughts. We have long been seeking to understand the origins of thoughts. Despite significant advancements in the fields of neuroscience and cognitive science, we are still unable to fully comprehend the source of thoughts. While some theories, such as the role of neocortex in thought processes, have been proposed, they remain untested and therefore uncertain. It is a complex and unresolved mystery like the concept of consciousness.
