I agree processed meat can cause issues for any organ. I don't believe fresh meat will make negative impact. I haven't seen a single clinical study on risks of fresh meant. I am on keto-carnivore diet for long time like many health people and our ancesstors. My kidney health including overall health improved. For impaired kidney too much protein can be problematic. Some sloppy scientists do not distinguish between processed meat and fresh meat confusing the public. Some of those studies are sponsored to gain competative business advantage. We need to consume those studies with a grain of salt.
