I agree. I also don't focus on supplements. But my point is if people cannot get their nutrients from food for any reasons as a last resort they need to supplement it. For example deficiency of vitamin B12, Vitamin D and magnesium cause sever health issues. These nutrients can be fixed with supplementation to mitigate risks.
