I admire people who experiment sensibly. I tried the carnivore diet over a decade ago. It was not even called carnivore in those days. My purpose was to use an elimination diet. I ended up eating only meat as I had an autoimmune inflammatory condition triggered by some plants. Ironically, I was a vegetarian before starting the keto-carnivore diet. After a few weeks, it became a sustainable lifestyle for me. I see my diet as keto-carnivore as I enjoy staying in deep ketosis for cognitive benefits. I shared my experience in 2020, so provide a link in case it might be an interest to you. https://medium.com/p/2152f0840e0b It took me a decade to tweak it. Now it is so easy , predictable, and joyful. I fully agree with your points about fiber. I have been on zero carbs and a zero-fiber diet for years, and I thrive. No issue with the microbiome. It is just a different type of colony that seems to work better for me as many of my debilitating conditions have disappeared. Thank you for sharing your experience. Please inform me with the results after a while. I write a lot about health and curate stories in my large publications on Medium.
