Hi Trav, thank you for your great points. Protein is critical in our age and more important as get older. I had to increase it to keep my lean muscles. When I was on plant diets I used to fear protein and fat and paid the price badly.
OMAD is very easy in my diet. I follow a keto-carnivore diet. Since I eat only animal products I get biovailable protein with no digestion problems. I used have terrible gas when consuming excessive beans. OMAD might not suit everyone but it does to some like me. If you fast 18 hours it sounds like OMAD to me. I fast 22 hours but my case is a bit extreme.
