HI Samuel, sorry for the late reply. Yes unnatural nutrients and anti-nutrients can cause neuroinflammation and damage cells and tissues in the brain. It is a very complex system. If molecules created in labs are identical to the molecules from natural food the risk might be lower. But our knowledge is very limited so it is best to eat natural as our genes evolved with them.
