Hi Nicolas, it is not possible to give a timeframe for supporting 28K writers with only 30 volunteer editors, which Medium does not allow more. Sometimes, we get thousands, and other times, hundreds. In general, we clear the publishing Q within 48 hours. A few times, the average was 5 to 7 days. However, I have helped a lot to solve the problematic ones through Slack over the last three years and speeded up the publishing process. Unfortunately, too many additional issues like fraud, account suspensions, and other changes happened on Medium, inundating my Slack DMs and email inboxes with inquiries from writers. Therefore, we have additional volunteers who help me with problem-solving.
