HI Michael, I agree with your understanding. I have no issue with the content but the title was clickbait and misleading. I will write about it as that title gives very wrong message to the community and is very dangerous for new writers to exploit the platform with fake followers, fake claps, and fake engagement which are sold on Fiverr cheaper than Medium membership.
