I might be wrong, but I believe our stories are not freely served unless we share friend links on X. I still use X to amplify valuable stories published in my publications to bring more readers to the platform, as it can be serendipitous. I have thousands of great connections globally on X, including some reputable influencers and thought leaders with millions of followers. I used to have more, but I lost most of my large audience accumulated since 2008, as well as valuable content from credible sources, when Twitter suspended my old account in 2020 due to security issues created by hackers attacking me via DMs. I learned my lessons to block and report them and not to be too tolerant to online trolls. Despite all this, I created a new account to find more readers for Medium. The good news is that Medium now supports Mastodon, which seems to be a better microblogging tool. Unfortunately, I came across hate speech on X and reported many. However, I am disappointed that an excerpt from a curated Medium article written by a seasoned cardiologist is marked as violent speech out of context. It is very concerning and heartbreaking for X to suspend your account for this misunderstanding despite your appeal. This incident shows how immature their AI system is and how unreliable it is for accurate information dissemination. Thank you for writing this valuable story, Mike.
