Hi Irene, your points deeply resonated with me. I am also very concerned that Medium now uses Copyleaks which makes a lot of error. I checked my academic, technical, and scientific articles and they the tool show they are AI written because they style we use and the citations we provide for rigor are interpreted as AI-generated. I even became a victim of this and wrote a story about it.
Therefore as a pub owner and chief editor of ILLUMINATION publications I am extra sensitive to this issue not to cause unnecessary stress to authentic writers. Thank you for pointing out this. I will write a new story or bulletin about it to reflect our approach. In a nutshell I told our editors not to use those immature tools mainly designed for commercial gains.
