Hi Dorin, thank you for your valuable feedback. I enjoy your stories and your writing style. We have received similar feedback since our inception. They are valid to some extent, and we embrace them.
However, this specific stream from the amplifier team is only one way that has specific goals to grow our writers and meet the needs of our readers.
This list includes around 100 to 150 selected pieces out of a pool of our 500,000-story collection to give a sampling of 100+ topics we cover.
You are right; we cannot expect a reader to read this many stories a day, but considering our 66K+ followers, we give options for them to choose one or two from their interest topics. We assume they can explore a new writer and engage with them. This creates serendipity.
This approach is only one dimension of this specific list.
Another dimension is cross-pollinating writers at all levels and giving them samples from around 100 topics to improve their crafts and collaborate with other writers.
One of the key values of Illumination is creating synergy through meaningful collaboration.
Regarding small collections, you are spot on. We have been doing it for a long time.
Illumination Integrated Publications have 115 volunteer editors, and they contribute to creating visibility in different ways.
