Please don't feel this way you don't deserve this suffering imposed by cunning people and fueled by a faulty platform. These scammers got very sophisticated exploiting the vulnerabilities of Medium. They use Medium as a trusted company and its established writers like me as baits to gain their victims' trust.
I have full empathy and compassion for your case as I was scammed due to hacking of our healthcare organization and hackers selling our data on the darknet. It was so painful that the first time in my life I had to call a life line. I wrote a story about it back then.
I feel awful when our authentic readers get scammed. It has been happening over 12 moths. I have written about it multiple times and even tagged CEO and senior leaders. Rathter than taking actions they censor my content and my new readers cannot see them. Even worse Medium Staff account is following scammers first adding fuel to fire.
