Hi Bella, thank you for sharing your valuable experience and observations of these two platforms. For the last 5 years I always favoured Medium and put 99% of my efforts here for the reasons you mentioned. I build a large community here and gained over 101K followers but now my account no longer gets any organic views or new followers. Medium community is wonderful therefore I continue sharing my content here and manage multiple publications but the management of the platform is very poor and needs improvement. Substack used to feel freezing to me but now it is very hot and I enjoy it more than Medium from every aspect. We cannot compare two platforms as they are different models .Both has its pros and cons. The best approach is to integrate them and get the best parts of each. I think this wonderful story should be published on our Substack Mastery publication on Medium or Curated Newsletters which replaced our flagship pub ILLUMINATION-Curated. i gave you writer access so you are welcome to transfer this story and be a contributor of both platforms.
