Hi Ajith, Thank you for taking the time to review my article. I appreciate your perspective, but I believe that periodic fasting a few times a year is actually a form of detoxification that improves the body's function.

It's important to note that my articles are not meant to provide advice, but rather to share my personal experiences, observations, and perspectives to raise awareness. Fasting may not be suitable for everyone, but it has been practiced by millions of people throughout history.

To clarify, my purpose in fasting is not for longevity, as we never know when we will pass, but rather to improve my health and happiness.

There is scientific evidence to support the health benefits of fasting, but for me, one of the biggest reasons is the boost in joy and happiness it brings.

After recently completing a 10-day fast, I felt euphoric as fasting optimizes brain chemistry Although this may seem paradoxical to some, during fasting, I don't feel deprived or depressed. Instead, I experience endless energy, a clear mind, and a happy body.

I explain how ketosis (β-hydroxybutyrate ) which is byproduct of fasting increases BDNF in the brain, lowers inflammation, and activates the autophagy and mitophagy process in a new article. I hope this new new story provides you a better perspectives.

I wish you a healthy and happy life.
