Good question! It happens on my story comments, too, and I am not a fan of them as they don’t sound authentic and seem to be automated to gain attraction. They are not usually provided by real readers but by some junior writers to attract attention to their profiles and content. However, there might be other reasons, such as some non-native speakers not being able to write in English and translate them using AI tools. I am tolerant of these types of writers using technology to overcome their constraints and to reach out to others with good intentions.
