Over the last three years, Medium did several changes. Some really worked well. The only issue in the process was the lack of transparency. In 2020 they changed T&Cs without informing writers initially, and it created an uproar in the writing community. I served as a mediator during that time and prevented many people from leaving Medium. Despite all, some writers left as they did not trust the new T&Cs.
