However, personally I have no concerns because I shared my personal email publicly on my publications with millions over a decade and only experienced serendipitous encounters such as offers for writing and speaking engagements.

I use Gmail which is extremely secured by Google with spam filters. With Gmail spam filters and my own additional filters I don’t have to deal with spam.
