As usual your research is thorough and your article content is well articulated.
Your choice of topic is controversial and great so you encouraged me to open my Pandora’s box :-)
My views and experience are totally contrary towards the unsubstantiated cancer claims on red meat. I have been intensively researching this topic over a decade from the established body of knowledge as a personal passion for me and did not come across a single empirical study on pure red meat causing cancer.
All the studies, used by these organizations and people against red meat, are epidemiological studies and the scope is out of context. With due respect, I have no confidence in these types of studies as they do not distinguish the study factors. For example, the red meat eaters on those epidemiological studies are heavy smokers, heavy drinkers, sedentary, high glucose consumers, high insulin, obese, and display many other unhealthy behaviors.
I have been on all meat, in fact pure red meat diet almost a decade and my health conditions dramatically improving. Eating red meat helped find best version of myself therefore I even include a main chapter in my personal transformation book.
However, I totally agree on processed and burnt meat cause cancer as there are carcinogenic ingredients in them. I refrain from both.
My experience and genuine thoughts can be found in this article.
